THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA.

** Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!


STEP TWO

** Surf around your friend list to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

NOW LET'S SEE IT!

1. I love Eevee. I would love to have ANYTHING Eevee, from drawings, to plushies, to keychains and stickers.

2. One of these days I'll have a laptop!!!!!!!! This is an on going wish.... xD

3. I love finding out about new music. I enjoy listening to new things and trying new artists. Even when I don't like them after hearing them, I'd rather know that from experience rather than being told I wouldn't. Introduce me to a new band!

4. I love tea. Send me all your tea! I'd love to try something different! I've tried a lot though. xD

5. A new Bible(NIV or NLT). Mine's old and covered in duct tape... the cover's falling off too. I'd like to have one that's slim enough to carry around in my backpack without killing me, but big enough to read.

6. 3,000 pageviews, I'm a simple person to please.

7. A RELAXING Christmas party evening with friends. Not one that's rushed or busy, just relaxing. We're going to graduate soon and I want to create a peaceful memory of us. Not just running around and rushed all of the time. I want to remember these times for the rest of my life, stories to tell our children and things to laugh about when we're old.

8. A new guitar. Currently i have a DF100 Squire Acoustic guitar that I've had for going on 6-years now and I'd enjoy an upgrade. Not that it hasn't been faithful to me (and it still plays beautifully), I would just enjoy having an electric-acoustic guitar. If you've got one you've had for a while and don't play (you just never seem to get around to it) I'd be glad to give it a happy home!

9. Some good recipes for desserts/snacks/food-gifts to give to my friends and family this year. I enjoy cooking things like that and I'd enjoy some quick, simple, and easy recipes that make good and delicious food.

10. A new camera. Recently the camera that I've had for 2.5 years stopped working. It was a gift from my 9th grade astronomy teacher. She'd gotten a new one and so she gave me hers(and she had it for a few years before me!). It's been a great camera for my purposes and I find I've become used to having a camera. It's sad not to be able to capture the moments in my life that I want to be able to remember. ):
